I'm a mixed female, and I seem to just have such a hard time finding good makeup products. While I have (generally) decent skin, I'm not too worried about foundation/concealer etc, but due to the color of my skin, I have a really hard time finding good eyeshadow palettes for my skin color. I mostly shop drug store, and I guess I'm going to have to stop because every shadow product in my makeup bag barely shows up on my skin. I'm not very dark at all either, but the colors aren't very pigmented. I often have to do coat upon coat upon coat to even get it to look like the shade shown.
Any darker skinned people have brand/tip suggestions? I'd like it to (of course) be blendable. So more of the creamier types rather than the chalky consistency. I know a lot of great products have popped up recently, but I seem to find that they all come in $20+ one-shade packs. I've googled, but I find more results for foundation/concealer than I do shadow.
I apologize if this is a common question. Just not sure where to look at this point.
